    The Healthcare Technician EKG Specialist Certificate program, will serve dual purposes: (1) offering students career preparation skills and knowledge to sufficiently perform that professional duty and (2) allow students the ability to earn credits necessary that can be applied to additional educational/career readiness programs. Upon completion of the Level 1 certificate students will be eligible to take the National EKG Tech Exam: Cardiovascular Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) Registry. The CRAT credential qualifies graduates of the Healthcare Technician EKG Specialist to operate as an EKG Technician in the workforce performing 12-Lead EKG (Telemetry).  The Cardiovascular Technician Level I Certification targets level I students enrolled in the Invasive Cardiovascular Technolgy program.
