Information Technology Specialist (OSA)


Earning a CompTIA A + certification is a great way to start your career in the IT industry.   Earning certifications shows not only that you have the right knowledge and skills to do the job, but also that you are dedicated to your IT career. Many companies, including Microsoft, Ricoh, Lenovo and Cisco, recommend or require CompTIA certification programs. 

With this award, you may see jobs such as:

Helpdesk Representative; IT Technician to Install and maintain computer systems, networks

CompTIA certifications help students build a solid foundation of essentials knowledge and skills that will help them start their information technology careers.  With the A+ certification students will be able to apply for jobs as a helpdesk representative, help desk specialist, and other similar opportunities.  The Network+ certification opens up even more job opportunities allowing students to work as a network administrator (usually at the jr level), network technician, and other similar positions.  CompTIA certifications will help your resume and give you an edge when applying for jobs in the information technology industry.
