Automated Industrial Process, A.A.S.


The Automated Industrial Process, A.A.S. program is designed to prepare students for a career in instrumentation and process control to include mechatronics advanced manufacturing  .   Students will be able to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, blue prints and schematics.  Understand the mechanics and fundementals of fluid power, mechanical drives and fabrication. Students will learn troubleshooting, maintenance, adjusting and calibrating measurment instruments, working with robotics, and fundementals in performing scheduled preventative maintenance in the industry of automation and instrumentation process control.

With this award, you may seek jobs such as:

Instrumentation Technician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Maintenance Apprentice/Technician and Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technician.
