CNC Manufacturing Technician, A.A.S.


The Manufacturing Program provides students with post entry level skills in the Machine Manufacturing profession. The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Manufacturing Technician Program provides instruction in the programming, set up and operation of CNC Machine tools such CNC Turning Centers and CNC Machining Centers and the courses related to the profession.

Additional Program Information


The Manufacturing program is designed to prepare students for manufacturing employment opportunities in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) professions. The program provides training in a renovated facility that is climate controlled Manufacturing Lab. Students will do set up and operation on HAAS CNC Vertical Machining Centers and HAAS SL 10 Turning Centers. MasterCAM software is used for programming the toolpaths. The program houses the Alamo Area Dual Credit Advanced Technology Manufacturing Academy (ATMA).
