The Byrd Sanctuary offers tutoring in science subjects to include Anatomy and Physiology (A&P), Biology, Chemistry (General and Organic), Earth Sciences and Physics. The Byrd Sanctuary is a free tutoring center available to SPC home students, and to students taking science courses at SPC.

Access to all Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) locations is strictly controlled. Please visit alamo.edu/reserved for information on enrollment and access requirements for civilians into JBSA and other military-reserved course sections. Civilians may be enrolled and receive access to JBSA for the purpose of attending courses, but access for student services such as registration or advertisement is not authorized for civilian students at any JBSA Installation.
