St. Philip’s College Cybersecurity (NCAECD)

The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have reaffirmed St. Philip’s College as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education. This designation covers academic years 2014 through 2020.

MATH 1332 - Contemporary Math I (Math for Liberal Arts Majors I)

CDEC 1356 - Emergent Literacy for Early Childhood

Semester IV - 15 Hours

CDEC 2304 - Child Abuse and Neglect
CDEC 2315 - Diverse Cultural/Multilingual Education
CDEC 2689 - Internship - Child Care Provider/Assistant
Select one course from the Language, Philosophy & Culture (40) Core or Creative Arts (50) Core .

Notes:

* TECA courses require 16 hours of field experience

Student can do concurrent enrollment in developmental course prerequisites along with early childhood courses (CDEC/TECA).
Student must complete practicum experiences.
Students are advised to complete academic core and/or electives during summer or flex semesters
Student may contact the advisor or Program about transfer of CDA credits and/or Experiential credit (i.e. credit for work experience).
