Associate of Science, concentration in Health Professions Degree

This is an Associate of Science with a concentration in Health Professions.  This degree includes the majority of pre-requisite course requirements for medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy and veterinary schools.  This is also the degree for students who wish to apply for Allied Health Professions such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.

American History (60) Core - 2 courses (6 credit hours)

Notes:


A course may be used only once to fulfill degree requirements.

Students must verify with the professional school to which you are going to apply to ensure that addional pre-requisite course are taken.  Most pre-health professional schools also require: PHYS 1401, MATH 1442, CHEM 2325/2225 and BIOL 1407. To transfer to the UIW Vision Science Program you will ned to take PHYS 2425 and PHYS 2426, as well as other specific science courses, in addition to the ones in this degree plan.
