    The certificate includes both laboratory work and classroom study and was designed in cooperation with the local plumbing contractors and a consortium of contractors who act as an Advisory Committee for the program. Students will learn basic skills to enter the plumbing industry. Upon completion of the certificate, students can become a plumber’s apprentice and accumulate the remaining hours needed to test for a journeyman license with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
