The Construction Program has a two year program leading to an Associate Degree in Applied Science with specialization in Construction or Plumbing and one one-year Certificate of Completion. The courses present the details of commercial and residential construction, casted in a context which emphasizes the supervisory use of such knowledge by the foreman, superintendent, and general contractor. The Associate Degree and certificate include both laboratory work and classroom study and was designed in cooperation with a consortium of contractors who act as an Advisory Committee for the program. The program and faculty are certified under the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Related Degrees and Certificates: AAS Construction Technology.
