Administrative Office Technology (AOT) Program prepares students to efficiently operate in the modern technological office environment. Moreover, Administrative positions in our society are becoming more automated and require refined, specific and evolving technical skills. St. Philip’s College; therefore, offers a two-year program designed to provide the necessary proficiencies and hands on training in the most up to date applications, technologies and security. Upon completing the required curriculum, an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) Degree will be awarded. Graduates from our program gain highly marketable skills in technology, decision-making, problem solving, human relations, and business ethics.
The program curriculum and activities provide, encourage, and support both leadership opportunities and professional development. The program is designed to prepare students to perform their duties with integrity and competence. Our program also supports students preparing for careers in other fields. All students, despite their majors, are encouraged to become Certified Microsoft Office Specialists (MOS). The Business Information Solutions (BIS) Department is an authorized Certiport Testing Center for student convenience and testing.
