St. Philip’s College Cybersecurity (NCAECD)

The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have reaffirmed St. Philip’s College as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education. This designation covers academic years 2014 through 2020.

Notes:

* TECA courses require 15 hours of field experience

Student can do concurrent enrollment of developmental courses along with Early Childhood Studies courses
Students need to complete at least three (3) practicum experiences (minimum of 2 credit hours each)
CDEC 1380 & CDEC 1381 may be substituted for a maximum of two (2) practicum experiences (with departmental approval and a passing grade of “C” or better)
Work experience may be substituted for a maximum of two (2) practicum experiences (equivalent to 256 contact hours)
