Registration Dates & Payment Deadlines/Refund Dates


General Registration Information

Summer 2012 Registration begins on April 9 & 10, 2012 and proceeds according to time ticketing. Time ticketing is based on the total number of hours earned from the Alamo Colleges plus any transfer hours that have been posted to your record, as reflected in the Student ACES System.

  • Friday, April 13 registration is open to all students enrolled in Spring 2012 with 1 or more hours.
  • Beginning, Monday, April 16 registration is open to all students for Summer 2012 courses. Personal assistance is available Monday-Thursday. 
  • The colleges are closed Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Online registration and payment systems will be operational during these periods.
  • All first-time-in-college students are encouraged to begin the advisement and registration process on Monday, April 16 in order to receive personal advising. Students must complete the ApplyTexas application and placement testing requirement prior to advisement.
  • The registration system is available 23/7. You may register on or after your eligible registration date any time of day, excluding 1:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m., which is reserved for system maintenance.

Open registration for all students beginning April 16 also applies to the following categories of students:

  • Newly Admitted
  • Dual Credit
  • Gateway
  • Early College High School
  • Academies
  • Senior Citizens
  • Virtual College

Check the number of hours on your record by following these steps:

  1. Log into the ACES portal with your Alamo Colleges ID and Password (If you do not have your Alamo Colleges ID and password follow the instructions located at “Logging into ACES.”)
  2. Select Student
  3. Select Web Services
  4. Select Student and Financial Aid
  5. Select Registration
  6. Select Registration Status
  7. Select the appropriate Term from the drop-down menu and select Submit
  8. Under the Earned Credit heading you will see the hours you have on your student record.

NOTE: If you have questions concerning your hours, contact your home college Enrollment Services/Admissions and Records Office.

  Monday, May 14 Senior Citizens using Tuition Waiver for Summer 2012 Maymester courses

Student Portal is available: 23 hours a day/7 days a week
System Unavailable: 1:00 am-2:00 am

Students who do not pay tuition and fees by the payment deadline will be dropped from their classes.

View and Pay Your Account

  1. Log into the ACES portal with your Alamo Colleges ID and Password (If you do not have your Alamo Colleges ID and password follow the instructions located at “Logging into ACES”.)
  2. Select Student
  3. Select Web Services
  4. Select Student and Financial Aid
  5. Select Student Account
  6. Select Account Summary to review your account balance
  7. Select Make a Payment
  8. Select Alamo Colleges Account Suite. This will take you to the TouchNet Payment website.
  9. To pay in full select Make a Payment
  10. To sign up for the Installment Plan, select Enroll in Plan
