MATH 0442 - Pre-Stat Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: ENGL 0300 Reading Basic Skills Prerequisite: READ 0302 Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0300 This course is intended to prepare students for Elementary Statistical Methods (Math 1442), a college level Core Math course. Topics include a review of real numbers, order of operations, and linear equations, as well as an introduction to quadratic and exponential equations, statistical graphs, probability, and correlation and regression. The student taking this course must enroll in a special section of Math 1442 for the next session in order to receive college level credit for Math 1442.
