VNSG 1429 - Medical Surgical Nursing I

Prerequisites: VNSG 1323, VNSG 1432, VNSG 2331, or VNSG 1323 and concurrent enrollment in VNSG 1432, VNSG 2331

Corequisites: VNSG 2260

Nursing intervention through application of the nursing process for clients with medical and surgical disorders related to the following systems: Genitourinary, Musculoskeletal, neurosensory, and Integumentary systems. This course will include anatomy and physiology review, medical and surgical treatment and the related nursing interventions, as well as the psychological approach in caring for these clients.
