Study of the importance of professional growth. Topics include the role of the licensed nurse in the multidisciplinary health care tram, professional organization, and continuing education. objective review of the nursing process, management and coordination of safe effective care, patient physiology and psychological needs, and the maintenance and promotion of health. A review of nursing ethics and the nurse practice act are also topics discussed.
