HART 1472 - Psychrometry and Duct FabricationPrerequisites: HART 1407, HART 1471 Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite (Fall 2013): ENGL 0300 Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite (Spring 2014): INRW 0305 Math Basic Skills Prerequisite (Fall 2013): MATH 0300 Math Basic Skills Prerequisite (Spring 2014) MATH 0305 Basic principles of duct fabrication, testing, and servicing. Psychometrics are studied, the properties of air, (humidity, relative humidity, dew point and saturation point). Service installation and repair of humidifying devices. Pollen control and pollution-control devices are analyzed and discussed. Emphasis is placed on adaptability of air-filtering systems on both residential and commercial systems.
