GOVT 2304 - Introduction to Political SciencePrerequisites: GOVT 2305 or GOVT 2301 Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420 Introductory survey of the discipline of political science focusing on the scope, and methods of the field, and the substantive topics in the discipline including the theoretical foundations of politics, political interaction, political institutions and how political systems function. This course fulfills the Social and Behavioral Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Social Responsibility.
