COSC 1337 - Programming Fundamentals IIPrerequisites: COSC 1315 or COSC 1336 Review of control structures and data types with emphasis on structured data types. Applies the object-oriented programming paradigm, focusing on the definition and use of classes along with the fundamentals of object-oriented design. Includes basic analysis of algorithms, searching and sorting techniques, and an introduction to software engineering. (This course is included in the Field of Study Curriculum for Computer Science.) COSC 1337 transfers to four-year colleges but may cause students to end up an hour short should they pursue Bachelors in Computer Science. It is strongly recommended that Transfer Student take COSC 1437 for a complete and smooth transfer. Students cannot receive credit for both COSC 1337 and COSC 1437 .
