Accreditation

St. Philip’s College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)  to award bachelor degrees and associate degrees and certificates.  St. Philip’s College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.  Questions about the accreditation of St. Philip’s College may be directed in writing to Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on College at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or by calling 404-679-4500, or by using information available on SACSCOC’s website (www.sacscoc.org).

The SACSCOC Board of Trustees voted to rebrand its accreditation services. Effective September 1, 2026, the organization will conduct business as The Commission on Colleges and Universities, a name that more accurately reflects the global scope and reach of its operations.

St. Philip’s College is governed by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Individual programs are also approved and accredited by National Accrediting Groups for Health Science and Nursing Programs, Culinary and Hospitality Programs, Automotive Programs and the Federal Aviation Administration.
