Associate of Science, concentration in Health Professions Degree

This is an Associate of Science with a concentration in Health Professions.  This degree includes the majority of pre-requisite course requirements for medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy and veterinary schools.  This is also the degree for students who wish to apply for Allied Health Professions such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.

Additional Communication (11) Core – 1 course (3 credit hours)

Mathematics (20) Core - 1 course (4 credit hours)


Humanities (40) Core – 1 course (3 credit hours)

Visual and Performing Arts (50) Core – 1 course (3 credit hours)

Notes:


A course may be used only once to fulfill degree requirements.

Students must verify with the professional school to which the are going to apply to ensure that addional pre-requisite course are taken.  Most pre-health professional schools also require: PHYS 1401, MATH 1442, CHEM 2325/2225 and BIOL 1407.
